With its integrated pressure measurement cell, the EDS 1700 provides the user with a 4-character display and the 4 switching outlets with all of the advantages of a modern electronic pressure switch. 4 switching points and reset points can be set independently of one another very easily by means of a foil keyboard. For optimum integration in monitoring systems （e.g. with SPS）, an analogue output （4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10V） is available for integration in monitoring systems （e.g. with SPS）. The main areas of application of the EDS 1700 are in the area of hydraulics and pneumatics. The device is used ideally wherever frequent switching procedures （several million）, continuous switching point accuracy or simple and precise setting capability are required.
